These virtual public spaces are a reflection of the real public places, where women are made to feel unsafe. \nFollowing the death of Caroline Flack and so many others who have suffered at the hands of trolls online, I am inspired to encourage a real change so that this doesn’t have to happen anymore.

These pages contained highly offensive materials that are false and fabricated about the Thai monarchy. Issues such as the potentially EU-wide ancillary copyright law and content recognition technologies – commonly known as “upload filters” – are still unresolved. We therefore call for those involved in the drafting and revising of such laws to deal better with the content and consequences of the digital aspect.

Many users have been using the sight for over a decade & have pictures of their children growing up, family & friends who are no longer with them, & countless other memories tied to their Facebook pages. May people manage other pages that people in the community depend on for important information. & people use Facebook to stay in touch & close to family & friends that live in different states. But now, through no fault of their own, they’ve lost access to all of their memories. They can no longer share the important information they need to share with others for a business or community organization.

Today, you have more influence on your billions of users’ lives than governments. You have the technological power to act fast, change algorithms and train your moderation teams, so that they are up to the challenge we are facing. \nThe owner of these accounts is also engaged in cyberbullying, particularly of female Thais, and has done so for years.

Without the story sharing function, we wouldn’t be able to spread information as effectively and widely. Users of your app have pleaded for a long while now to have their feeds returned to their liking. The prevalence of ads and lack of engagement with “normal” or “non-business” accounts diminishes the efficiency of the app and completely disregards the interests of hundreds of thousands of loyal users. The choice to ignore the consumer has cultivated much frustration and this petition pledges to minimize use as much as possible until things are fair. We are not asking for ads to be removed, but for us to have some type of autonomy with our feeds.

If you submit a video to Facebook or YouTube, explaining it’s animal abuse in every form, neither platforms will do anything. Facebook, won’t even let you explain anything in the report and YouTube, doesn’t take the animal abusers channels down. Even telling them who they are and what they do to the monkeys in Cambodia. This has been an increasing problem with particular animal abusers in Cambodia and Vietnam. The Authorities won’t take all their monkeys away and won’t give them a fine. Facebook needs to let people free hand the problem with the abuse videos and both need to tell why it doesn’t go against Community Standards.

I am sure I am not the only one here, other deaf people may have the same barrier if they have hearing friends or relatives as well. Communication is a huge barrier for us all, and we feel that it’d be awesome if Meta could add subtitles to all Messenger video chats, so that way everyone can communicate better without any barriers. • It has been a full week and most of those locked out during this crash are still locked out and there is no recourse, no word from Facebook, no way to get them to fix the problem for those users.
• It seems disabled accounts are not even able to download their personal data.
